The Art of Change Making is a 12 day residential programme delivered through Crawford College of Art and Design in assoication with its partners from April 5th to April 18th. The Art of Change Making is about bringing you closer to ‘Be the Change you want to see in the World’. It is about moving away from individualism and competition to cooperation and innovation. 40 people from Ireland, The UK, Germany & Holland selected and invited to share develop and share skills and experience in an innovative learning exchange. It will question how we sustain our creative ideas and bring them into reality. It is about exploring the future of CHANGE-MAKING.

'Decoding Time' solo show at the Silver River Images Gallery, Carrick on Shannon ,Co.Leitrim. Opening reception 5.30pm, 14th March 2013. Exhibition will be opened by Philip Delamere, Leitrim County Art Officer.
The exhibition is the culmination of Brigitta Varadi recent four weeks art Residency at the Contemporary Artists Centre (CAC), Woodside, Troy, New York. Residency which was supported by Arts Council of Ireland, Travel and Training Award, by Leitrim County Council Artists Bursary and by the Merit and Financial award of the Contemporary Artists Centre.

Art Reidency at the The Contemporary Artists Center   Troy, USA  7.October-2.November 2012.  The CAC is a multi-purpose art organization originally founded in Massachusetts, and now operating in Troy, NY. For the last 20 years the CAC has presented and procured artists who want to produce, explore, test new concepts and expand the current debates and ideas in today’s art and culture.

TRADE  2011 art residency programme 
2011 residency programme where two Roscommon and two Leitrim artists are working with New York based artist David Michalek over the course of the year concluding with the TRADE seminar in 1-3 December 2011, DOCK Arts Centre, Carrick on Shannon.
TRADE is a collaborative visual arts programme between Leitrim and Roscommon County Councils providing knowledge, resources and opportunities for visual artists to engage internationally. Rather than considering ‘rural’ as ‘isolationary’, TRADE emphasises that art is a global construct and encourages a freeflow of ideas and opportunities both for local artists to engage internationally as well as for international artists to participate locally.

Inter-Changes: Craft and Context is a symposium with two accompanying exhibitions being held in Dublin in April 2010. It is the culmination of a seminar series held in NCAD in association with the MA programme in Ceramics Glass and Metals, the Crafts Council of Ireland and the Fulbright Commission.
